Frequently Asked Questions
I work full-time—how can I participate?
We are happy to schedule your home visits at times that are convenient for you—weekday, weeknight, and/or weekend. And, we come to you for the majority of the visits so you don’t have to travel!
Will I get the test results from my or my baby’s specimens?
Many of the specimens we collect will not be analyzed immediately. However, when they are analyzed we will let you know if your levels of a particular measure are out of the normal range, if there is a standardized level for that particular test.
Will you let me know if you suspect my baby is developing atypically?
We begin doing basic behavioral evaluations at 3 months of age, but no major diagnostic assessments are performed until age two. If at that time we suspect anything abnormal we will certainly let you know. Though the behavioral assessments performed before age two are not necessarily diagnostic, we will give you the results of these evaluations for you to share with your pediatrician.
